A window seat made for Christmas

This is a recent job I did just before Christmas. The client from Sherman Oaks contacted me via email with basic dimensions and I did the design and build without ever seeing the home. Normally I wouldn't work this way, but this project was special since it was to be installed a few days before Christmas and be part of a remodeled bedroom for an 11 year old girl's Christmas surprise. Unit features soft close undermount slides, dovetailed drawers, a not slip top for an upholstered cushion and has a special drawer sized to conceal a printer. After carrying it up a steep flight of stairs it was installed as a built in piece of furniture. The cushion is a charming cupcake print and matches wallpaper on the opposite wall of the bedroom.
