From tract home to traditional quality - door and window solutions that make all the difference

In the course of giving estimates for crown moulding and baseboard, I have the opportunity to walk through many homes. And, most people who own a home built after 1980 often want to add personality and refinement to their home by adding finishing work like crown moulding. But, another area that can make a significant improvement in a home's decor is to take bland, unfinished window and door openings and give them the finished look of traditional cased windows. The problem is, many of these homes have a large rounded drywall corner surrounding the window and door openings making it awkward to simply add window and door casing.
