Exterior trim that withstands the elements

I'm heading down the final stretch on Bella Salon's new location in Pasadena and just completed the exterior trim for the doors.

Since the patio and walkways are bound to be rinsed down regularly there is a real concern about using any sort of wood products for the exterior door casings. Products like WindsorOne are generally very good as an alternative to just using standard wood trim work but for this application the customer wants something even more weatherproof and maintenance free. The ideal product for this application in my opinion is made by Azek. I'm told that it is used extensively throughout Sea World and other places where there is heavy moisture exposure and I can attest to its durability because I have used it on the outside of my own home in some areas and it is terrific stuff.

The molding is a cellular vinyl and requires a glue which comes in an applicator like PVC pipe glue.

As you can see re moulding comes bright white. It is very smooth and it takes primer and paint well.
